In case you want to give me money for no reason.

First of all, thank you for reading this far.

My goal for my blog is to take the show on the road. A lot of my writing is related to current events and racial tensions within the US. With additional funding, I'd be able to travel to actual hot spots in the United States to not only write about but record the things I think people need to see and hear. Social media is a great tool for modern day writers but there is no substitute for actual boots on the ground.

I also want to use this funding to start and maintain a not-for-profit organization that helps my local community, Houston, Texas. Community outreach has always been a goal of mine. Now, with the devastation wrought by Harvey, it seems like time for me to step up and do my part. I'm currently working on a project with this in mind that I'll be unveiling in the next few days. I'm very excited about it and I hope you will be, too!

I'm an artist, as well as an aspiring author, so I will on occasion post my artwork and fictional works. I'm currently writing a novel, a sort of cyberpunk post-apocalyptic western adventure, that I hope to be able to make available to people soon. Still lots of writing to be done but it's coming along nicely.

I have many irons in the fire and being able to monetize my writing would go a long way towards me completing my goals. Anything helps and I'm thankful for it.

And, of course, feel free to give me absolutely nothing and read my blog anyway. I'm not blocking anything off. I'll be thinking about rewards for patrons but I figured we'd cross that bridge if/when we came to it.

Trolls, trolled.

I don't usually do "reports from the internet!" type posts because I hate them but this is too funny not to share.

So FunnyOrDie ran this ridiculous, and hilarious, J.K. Rowling story:

Obviously fake. Obviously satire. Besides the fact that no such tweets exist. Besides the fact that this is not how repossession works. Besides the fact that the next article on the same page is this:

(This picture of Obama is fucking hilarious, btw.)

/pol/ has been going absolutely nuts. Some are calling for J.K. Rowling's execution. Some are saying that this is typical of a "Jewess" or the "Jewry". Many of them seem to believe that this story is not only real but also indicative of the predatory nature of the left against the right. It is, in a way. It's a total fabrication made real only by troubled teenage minds. Here are some samples of their deliciously flustered jimbobs.

Maybe the reason that /Pol/ is so heavily pro-Trump really is that they cannot tell fantasy from reality.

Either way, /Pol/ = BTFO 😆😆😆

Our girl - A Taylor Swift parody.

"It's done, Taylor." Joe said from the doorway.

She stopped typing and half turned, her profile backlit by three large monitors and underlit by the red glow of her keyboard, and smiled. Even bathed in the darkness of her sanctum the gesture seemed to brighten the room. Lately, for reasons unknown to Joe, it had begun to send a shiver down his spine. He felt that chill now.

"Good." She said quietly. She seemed about to speak again but then turned back to her computer.

"Why are you doing that?" He asked her again. He didn't know how many times he'd asked anymore.

"You know why." She spat, impatiently.

"It doesn't make any sense!"

"How are you from Anglo stock and you're this fucking dumb? Are you sure there's no nog blood in the-"

"I'm not-"

"Don't you fucking dare interrupt me." The words came out in a dangerous hiss. The argument was an old one, an almost daily occurrence for the last few weeks, and Joe sensed that he might be the next subject of a hot pop track.

"I'm sorry." He said quickly. The wounded look on his face enraged Taylor but there was nothing he could do about it. When she cut him it was always so deep. She'd learned a family rumor about an ancestor of his that might have been of color. No one else in the family much cared but Taylor had been very upset. She'd been trying to get him to take a DNA test to determine his ancestry. He'd so far refused but she was wearing him down.

"Look." She said, rising from her chair, and coming to him. "I don't want to fight. Just let me have this, ok? It's happening!"

"But I don't know what IT even is?!"

"Shhh." She threw her arms around him and he hugged her back fiercely. "Redpills don't work unless you're ready, my love." She whispered up into his ear.

He was more confused than before but said nothing. Her body was warm. Her lips brushed his neck lightly and goosebumps broke out across his skin.

"Everything is perfect. Be happy." She whispered. He looked down at her monitors and shook his head.

"What are they saying?" He asked in a tone that implied that he didn't really want to know the answer.

"They're loving it." She laughed. "One of them is already telling everyone that I'm obviously based and my single is about the Zog."

"I wish you wouldn't..."

"Oh REEEEEEEEEEEEE! I said a bad word! Fuck off then, 'sperg." She pushed away from him dismissively then and returned to her desk.

"Fine. Whatever." Joe turned to leave but she stopped him with a single softly spoken word.

"Baby?" She called innocently.

"Yes baby?" He replied, his words dripping with hope.

"Tendies?" She asked sweetly, batting her eyes.

His heart shattered. He felt that he might sink into the floor, so rubbery were his legs and so broken was his spirit.

"Yes, baby." It was all he could muster and he said it to her back. She was already typing steadily again. He turned and left the room without another word.

"Cuck." Taylor whispered with a smile. For some, the redpill is just too hard to swallow. Not for long, Taylor thought. Soon she would redpill them all. She had to. She was their girl.

Are they Nazis yet, America?

Three dead.

Nineteen injured.

This is the damage that white supremacy did to a town to protect white people from minorities. All three dead people are white.

Heather Heyer was run down in the street by an angry young white man that probably felt that her presence, her very existence, was a threat to his own. So he hit her with his car at forty miles per hour for crossing the street.

Pilots Lt. Jay Cullen, 48, of Midlothian, and Berke M.M. Bates, of Quinton, died in a helicopter crash while trying to observe the violence from the air. I'm sure many will argue that they aren't the Alt-Right's fault because they weren't directly killed by Nazis. My argument? You blamed BLM for ANY and ALL violence and ANY and ALL deaths that took place at their protests. This was your protest. By your logic these are your bodies.

I've said, and keep saying, that this violent white genocide rhetoric is, and has been, deadly. I take no pleasure in being right about it. To be honest, I do not feel like I'm saying anything particularly shocking. Violent rhetoric begets violence. Chanting for dead cops is wrong. Chanting Nazi slogans, and throwing Nazi salutes, is wrong. Showing up at protests armed, and intending to fight, is wrong.

The president refusing to denounce them will only embolden them. Be prepared for the Alt-Right to turn the Charlottesville TERRORIST into a folk hero, don't be surprised when the memes start showing up ridiculing the victims, and watch closely as his act inspires copycat acts at other protests. They're fanatics. As dangerous as any other terrorist group and moreso to the U.S for one simple, and obvious, reason - THEY ARE HERE. Not only that, they're now all but state sponsored by the Trump administration. Tools for their soft fascist coup. And why not? That's what Trump's boss does, after all.

I hope that today has cleared some things up for those that were still on the fence.

The Alt-Right are Neo Nazis. Trump is a Fascist. Trump is using Neo Nazis, because they're his base, to attack his opposition. This is just the beginning and it's only going to get worse. What are we waiting for?

Kristallnacht?

Not me, baby.

Put your fucking boots on.

Review of Republican Tears - Vintage 1942.

There are moments when I feel perfectly comfortable taking the low road. Times when I can quite happily watch my foes fail as they reach for their goal, mere inches from their fingertips, only to stumble, and then fall. I feel no remorse as I stand over them, laughing, and drink their bitter and delicious tears.

Last night, I felt this way as I watched Mitch McConnell weep openly.

Schadenfreude, they call it.

Taking pleasure in someone else's misfortune.

As those salty morsels of satifaction oozed from his sad, sleepy eyes my mouth instantly filled with saliva. As enticing as beads of morning dew running down the skin of a ripe, green apple bathed in the day's first light and diminished not one iota by the crusty jowls down which they currently streamed. I was a man, fresh from the scorching desert, and Mitch McConnell's precious droplets of failure were my oasis.

The look on his dumb, droopy face when McCain gave his thumbs down, immediately making eye contact with the defeated dunce like a boss, was as delectable and decadent a treat as any state fair fare. It was fried iced cream. It was fried cheesecake. It was a funny funnel cake of fantastic fuckery.

Thank you, Mr. McCain.

But where do I go from here?

Will anything ever be as sweet?

Will I ever again be satisfied?

It's just the internet.

We meet lots of people in our lives. We pass each other on the street, shake hands at parties, speak briefly over the phone, and often never make an impact on each other. In the digital age this is even more true. A conversation on Facebook or Twitter likely will not lead to more than a couple of likes between us. At most, it could lead to a follow or a chat. Still, we move on with our lives and forget each other.

Sometimes, however, we click. We connect. You'll see something in the other person that makes you feel the need to remain connected. So you do. These interactions sometimes give birth to real friendships between people separated by huge distances; of miles, years, ideologies, class, ethnicity, upbringing, etc. People that may never have met before become fast friends as if they had known one another all along and are just picking up where they left off.

I have a few such friends. But tonight I have one less.

Christopher Banks, or @CmbSweden, isn't like me. On paper we might seem like two people that might never even speak, let alone become friends, but friends we were.

Indeed, friends we are.

In many ways, I considered him a mentor. Whether or not I agreed with him I could always see the wisdom in his words. He was always forthcoming with constructive criticism and always delivered it in a positive way to help instead of just to laud over you with his superior knowledge.

Yet, even with the wisdom of his years, he was always quick to listen to you about things that he lacked knowledge on. As an ally in the fight against white supremacy and for equality, he understood the importance of knowing what he didn't know. He never told me how to react to racism or how to fight against it. I remember him specifically asking ME, many years his junior, about the correct way to approach things related to racism.

He was a great father to his daughter and his example is inspiring to me. I hope that my daughter and I have a relationship that is as strong and as loving as the one he cultivated with his. I'm going to miss him bragging about how amazing his daughter is, all the while claiming to have nothing to do with it and giving her all the credit for just being an amazing person.

We're all poorer for the loss of you.

I'll never forget you. Rest in peace, brother.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

HITLER WAS NOT A SOCIALIST.

An oft repeated right wing lie that must be debunked whenever possible.

Firstly, I'm not a Marxist. I'm not especially a socialist, either, although I do believe that healthcare should be socialized. That's another post entirely, though. One, now that I think of it, I may write later. But I digress...

The Nazis outlawed socialism. They were imprisoning, and killing, socialists and communists before they were killing Jews.

There were socialists in the Nazi party initially. They were represented mainly by the Strasser brothers and Strasserism. Guess what happened to them? Otto Strasser was expelled from the party in 1930 after a disagreement with Hitler over Hitler's disregard for socialist ideals during which Hitler repeatedly called Strasser a "liberal". He later went into exile in Czechoslovakia. The other brother, Gregor Strasser? Murdered during the Night of the Long Knives

Hitler didn't even believe in socialist economic principles nor did he institute them.

“Hitler was never a socialist. But although he upheld private property, individual entrepreneurship, and economic competition, and disapproved of trade unions and workers' interference in the freedom of owners and managers to run their concerns, the state, not the market, would determine the shape of economic development. Capitalism was, therefore, left in place. But in operation it was turned into an adjunct of the state."

            - Hitler 1936 – 45: Nemisis, by Ian Kershaw.

“We have to strip the terms ‘Nationalism’ and ‘Socialism’ of their previous meaning. Only that man is a nationalist who stands by his people, and only that man is a socialist who stands up for the rights of his people both internally and externally.”

            - Adolf Hitler, November 16, 1928.

There are so many articles that have been written on why Hitler was not a socialist that I honestly don't understand how anyone could fall for a lie so blatant.

Here is Reddit featuring many, many people debunking this nonsense

Here is a youtube video debunking the claim as made by Steven Crowder, a well known lying piece of shit -

Here is Professor David Klein of California State University, Northridge debunking the same myth.

Here's a Guardian opinion piece about this continually repeated lie

Here's a piece written by Albert Einstein on socialism.

Here's the definition of socialism itself for the people that are confused.

When you search google for Hitler's links to left wing socialism you'll find yourself all but drowned in a murky green soup of right wing propaganda sites that try to distance themselves from this obviously right wing fascist dictator. Infowars, CNS, TheRebel, TheNationalReview, etc. The target of this fallacy is obvious, right wingers that don't check sources.  It's intended goal is equally obvious – Fear mongering.

Look how the left is the enemy!” They scream.

Ironically, this is exactly why Hitler sometimes claimed to be a socialist. It was a way to win over the workers with words while he acted in whichever way suited him best.

If he was such a left winger and a socialist then why was he supported by the right and by big business? Big business which, by the way, flourished before, during, and even after the war.

This shit is basic as hell and I feel like I shouldn't even have to write it... but I clearly do... So here it is.

Have a great day.
